    How Wrinkles Develop
    Posted in Wrinkles

It was bound to happen, the appearance of wrinkles on your face.  You may have had perfect skin as a youth and never really had to give it special care but all of a sudden you look into the mirror and realize how time has passed.  You skin has dried out and you see wrinkles where there used to be smooth healthy skin.

Before we talk about wrinkles, let’s find out more about the skin in general.  The skin is composed of three layers which are the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue.

The epidermis is the outermost layer.  It works like a barrier protecting the inner layers of the skin and counteracting the negative effects of the environment.  The cells of the epidermis are called keratynocites and they create a protective keratin shell.

The dermis is the second layer.  It serves as a bridge between the external and the inner layer of the skin.  The dermis contains collagen which gives strength, and elastin which gives the skin a flexible quality.  The junction between the epidermis and the dermis is very important.  This layer contains blood vessels that ensure that the epidermis is supplied with the right amounts of blood and nutrients.

The subcutaneous tissue is the last layer of the skin.  Large blood vessels and nerves can be found in it.  It also has fat which regulates the body’s temperature.  The thickness of the subcutaneous tissue varies from person to person.

The skin is one of the organs of the body that is most affected by ageing.  As a person ages, the cells of his or her skin start to lose most of their functions.  The skin becomes dry because water is let loose from it.  The thinner the epidermal cells become, the more water is lost.  Every ten years the epidermal cells are wasted and the process of regeneration gradually decreases.  Because of this the skin becomes more vulnerable and sensitive.

The dermis is also significantly affected by ageing.  It becomes thinner and the amount of collagen and elastin it produces decreases.  The result of these major changes is the appearance of wrinkles.  In addition, the sebaceous glands also begin to produce less sebum and the sweat glands decrease their activity and again, the effect is skin dryness.

The subcutaneous tissue is not spared.  Ageing causes its fat cells to decrease and lose strength their strength to recover from the damage of the two upper layers.

When the skin condition has started to deteriorate because of ageing, it becomes even more susceptible to the other factors that cause wrinkles.  Lines and spots from overexposure to the sun become more visible.  Jowls, drooping eyelids and prolonged earlobes which are the result of gravity’s pull become more pronounced with the loss of elastin fibers.  The muscles which we use to make facial gestures and expressions also cause wrinkles to appear.

If you do not do anything to control the destructive effects of these external and external factors, you are doomed to have a heavily wrinkled face when you get old and even before it.  Fortunately, science and nature offer ways to keep this from happening.  Make use of these as much as you can.

Different Wrinkle Treatments and How They Work
    Posted in Wrinkles

We are all designed to grow old and wrinkles are a part of it.  There is really nothing we can do to eliminate wrinkles but we can at least slow down their development.  Some wrinkle treatments work better than others although the kind of results we will get from using a particular treatment also depends on the type of skin we have.  Thus, before even considering any wrinkle treatment, you need to determine what kind of you have and what products or substances can harm it.

Creating your own homemade wrinkle treatment is a good option.  You can also look for recipes for natural beauty masks and creams in books and online.  The best thing about these homemade solutions is that they do not cause skin irritation.  If you have the time to research and prepare, these homemade alternatives are well worth it.

If you prefer to have a professional do the job, you can get a 3-step skin care program offered by beauty salons.  This includes skin cleaning, exfoliating and hydrating.  Although this treatment will not remove your wrinkles, it will certainly make your skin softer and fresher looking.

A medical approach to wrinkle management is exfoliation through the chemical peeling process.  This procedure removes the superficial layer of the skin using chemical substances like phenol or acetic acid.  After a chemical peeling your wrinkles will be less noticeable and your skin will feel softer.  You need to know however that this treatment requires that you stay home for a few days to give time for your red skin to heal.

Another skin procedure that involves exfoliation of facial skin is called Micro Derma-Abrasion.  A machine is used to move small crystals on the face.  These crystals takes away all the dead skin and prepares a place for new cells.  This treatment improves the texture, color and even aspect of the face.  Young people with perfectly healthy skin can also get this treatment because it does an excellent job of cleansing the face and preventing future problems.  Micro Derma-Abrasion treatments start with 4-6 sessions at first with a seven day interval in between treatments.

What is called Botox is just one type of treatment that involves the injecting of a substance into the facial muscle to reduce wrinkles.  This treatment has become very popular because it yields pretty good results.  There are actually two types of wrinkle injections.  One type uses collagen or fat to fill out the wrinkles making them less visible.  The other type uses Botolinum toxin A to temporarily paralyze the facial muscles to prevent contraction and the creation of expression wrinkles.  If you are interested in this type of treatment, remember to go to a medically attested place and have it done by an authorized professional.

You can optimize the results of any of the procedures discussed above by living a healthy lifestyle which includes a balanced diet and a regular exercise regimen.  Eat meals rich in vitamins, drink a lot of water and if you smoke, quit the habit or at least lessen the number of sticks you consume.

Skin Care Tips to Prevent Wrinkles
    Posted in Wrinkles

One of the best things about being young is having supple, smooth and healthy skin.  As we get older we go through stress and fatigue.  These things cause us to lose sleep, eat an unhealthy diet, or to overwork in order to meet the demands of the job, family or both.  People who are in such situations end up looking haggard and old even if they are still too young to have that look.  Regardless of your age, it is important that you take special care of your skin.

The most wrinkle prone area of the face is the area around the eyes.  Of course wrinkles are bound to development with time because it is part of the natural ageing process.  As we get older, our skin loses its elasticity, becomes drier and eventually wrinkles develop.  The ageing process is manifested differently from person to person.  Factors that come into play include the diet, lifestyle and genes.  However, there are still steps you can take to make your wrinkles less noticeable and to slow down the development of more wrinkles.  Here are a few things you need to keep in mind:

    1. First thing to remember is that it is possible for anti-ageing creams to work negatively through overuse.  By doing that, you can in fact make things worse therefore do not become dependent on these creams.
    2. Your diet also greatly affects the quality of your skin.  Eating fruits, vegetables and light foods will make your skin clearer and will help to slow down the ageing process.  Make sure to include vegetables, salads and soup in your daily meals.
    3. The use of natural products is highly beneficial.  Our grandmothers had beautiful skin because of homemade skin treatments.  A beauty mask made of honey, lemon and yogurt works wonderfully in hydrating your face.  All you need to do is apply it on your face, let it stay for 10 minutes, then wash it off.  You will immediately feel your skin becoming healthier.
    4. Smoking is one of the worse enemies of our skin.  Smokers have dry facial skin that is predisposed to wrinkles.  Nicotine has been found to have a strong connection to premature ageing.  You don’t even have to be a smoker yourself to suffer the negative effects of nicotine because exposure cigarette smoke is enough to make your skin pale and dry.
    5. Another major skin ageing factor is long exposure to the sun.  This causes premature ageing that is why it is important to protect our skin from it.  Always use a sunscreen lotion whenever you go out into the sun.  Constant exposure to the sun not only causes our skin to age faster, but it also increases our risk of developing skin cancer.
    6. Your emotions can also cause you to have more wrinkles.  Being upset causes expression wrinkles which can eventually become permanent.  If you want to skin to stay young, learn how to be calm.  According to studies, people who are more impulsive have more wrinkles.  It is also important that you get at least 8 hours of sleep a day because sleep and skin health also have a direct connection.  Get your beauty sleep.  Give yourself at least an hour in the afternoon to get a few zzzs.
    7. Avoid strict diets as these do not supply your body and skin the vitamins and nutrients you need.  Make sure to include fish in your meals because they contain omega fats that help keep the skin healthy and elastic.

There is no great secret to getting rid of wrinkles.  Just stick to the basics:  keep your skin clean and well-hydrated and nature will reward you for it.

Finding the Right Wrinkle Remover for You
    Posted in Wrinkles

Silver gray hair is a dignified sign of ageing but the same may cannot be said about wrinkles.  Instead of wisdom which is closely associated  with an older person’s white hair, wrinkles are the dreaded symbol of the physical deterioration caused by ageing.  The nice thing about wrinkles however, is that these days, there are many things you can do to have a wrinkle-free face.

Everyone has heard of Botox which is the rage these days among the more advanced in age.  It is also the best one available.  A Botox treatment involves the use of Botulinum neurotoxin A which is a potent toxin produced by the Clostridium Botulinum.  This substance is injected directly into the face to temporarily paralyze the expression muscles thereby eliminating wrinkles.  Aside from the removal of wrinkles, this toxin is also clinically used to treat migraines, prostate problems and eye muscle disorders.

According to specialists the risks are practically nil because the amount of toxin used is very well calculated.  The results however, are great and 100% guaranteed.

If you find this approach quite dangerous and would not want to take the risk of having a form of toxin injected into your face, then we can try the more traditional methods of wrinkle removal.  Anti-wrinkle creams do work however not all of them are safe.  It is better to get information from people who have actually used them with success rather than rely on product advertising.  This is not to say that manufacturers want to trick people it’s just that these products have different effects on different skins.  When choosing a wrinkle remover consider factors such as its price, the advertising and the product testimonials of its users.  If someone with a skin type like yours has used it and was satisfied with the results, then it’s a sign that the product would also work for you.

Avoid a product that is alcohol based because aside from drying the face skin, alcohol also has other negative side-effects such as rashes and irritation.  To make lines disappear, the skin has to be rehydrated with the help of vitamins A, B, D, and E.  Thus in choosing a product, make sure these ingredients are part of the formulation.  Also, it is important that you strictly follow the usage instructions that come with it.  Do not use more than the prescribed amount or skip treatment as this can affect the efficacy of the product.

Homemade wrinkle removers are another alternative which you might want to try instead of expensive creams and fancy treatments.  They are also very effective in removing wrinkles.  You can massage your face every night with coconut oil, bananas or grapes.  These have been proven to be very effective in hydrating the skin.  These traditional remedies have been around for generations.   If you are interested in learning more, there are books and websites that contain recipes of these natural concoctions.

Aside from using a wrinkle remover (a product or something homemade), make sure to keep yourself hydrated by drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water everyday.  Water is not only good for your skin but for your overall health as well.  Also, eat natural foods that are rich in vitamin A, B, D, and C for better results.

Now here’s to a younger more youthful looking you!

Some Basic Information about Wrinkle Products
    Posted in Wrinkles

Wrinkle products are a big hit in the market.  People have been waiting for something like it in a long time.  It used to be that with the appearance of wrinkles, people could do nothing but accept the fact that they were getting old.  But times have changed, science has found ways to conquer wrinkles or at least rmake them less obvious.

Wrinkle treatments come in three basic forms:  beauty masks, wrinkle creams and exfoliating lotions.

A beauty mask is a product that is slathered on the face until it covers it like a mask which when dried is peeled off.  It works by hydrating the skin on your face and providing it with vitamins.  There are many different kinds of beauty masks, some manufactured and some homemade, all quite effective.

If you have dry skin, use a facemask that is rich in antioxidants and plant extracts.  If you live in the city where the air is full of dust and pollutants, you need a mask that purifies the skin.  While walking the streets, your face is exposed to all the dirt, grime and chemicals from car exhausts present in the environment. It is important to treat your face with a beauty mask rich in humectants and hydrators.

Beauty masks work effectively on oily skin by cleaning the pores and eliminating that fat look on your skin.  After a beauty mask treatment, your will look and feel fresher.  For skin damaged by continued sun exposure, the best type of beauty mask to use is one that is rich in Vitamin C and other natural plant extracts.  There is an appropriate mask for different skin types and problems.  Find one that best meets your skin’s needs.

Face creams are standard skin care products.  More people prefer them over face masks because they are easier and convenient to use.  Before going to bed, massage your skin with a face cream that matches your skin type.  Regular use of a skin cream will hydrate your skin making it look beautiful.

When it comes to effective cleansing of the face, exfoliating lotions work best.  Everyday use of exfoliating lotion will remove dead skin cells.  It will also clean out your pores and leave your skin feeling wonderful.  A wheat husk may also be used instead of an exfoliating lotion.  All you need to do is add  water to a bit of husk and gently rub your face with it.

Exfoliating lotions are very efficient in cleansing the face cleansing. Cleaning your face everyday with a good exfoliating lotion will get rid of the epidermis dead cells. This will clean pores and give your face skin a great feel. Instead of using exfoliating lotion, you can use wheat husk. Add water to a bit of husk and wash your face with it. It will have the same effect as an exfoliating lotion.

A good skin care routine starts with a shower to help you relax, feel clean and refreshed.  Next, wash your face with a good moisturizing soap.  After this, apply an exfoliating lotion.  Put on some soothing music and massage your face with cream.  Leave it on your face for 20 minutes as you relax and enjoy the music.  When the cream has done its work, you will be able to feel and see the difference.

Use a beauty mask at least once a week although it would be better if you could do it more often.  After repeating the cleansing process, apply the mask while massaging your face.  Lie down on the bed or sofa with the mask on your face.  You wouldn’t believe how great it works.  If you absolutely hate masks, you can just cleans and cream your face everyday.  Soon enough, this practice will give you the beautiful skin you’ve always wanted.

    Wrinkle Injections: The Advantages
    Posted in Wrinkles

Looking good is a goal that everyone of us share.  This is the reason why cosmetic surgery is one of the most lucrative fields of medicine.  Wrinkle treatment comes in various forms—fat implants, collagen injection, Botox treatment, chemical peeling, laser, just to name a few.  For those who are after a medical approach to wrinkle removal but are not willing to undergo plastic surgery, wrinkle injections are a good choice.  The procedure involved is simple, results show within a short period of time and recovery only takes a few days.

These days Botox (botulinum toxin A) is probably the most popular type of wrinkle treatment.  The treatment involves the injection of small amounts of Botox into the muscles that holds up the wrinkled skin.  The Botox toxin works by preventing the production of the substance that controls muscle contraction.  It also relaxes the muscles which gives the skin a better appearance and almost completely eliminating wrinkles.  According to specialists, Botox works best in removing the wrinkles on the eye area and forehead.  The procedure lasts for only 30 minutes but the effects are visible from 4-6 months.  If you want immediate results, this may not be the best option as the skin takes about a week to recover and a month for the full effects to be visible.

Botox also has side-effects and these include fatigue, swelling, local inflammations and migraines.  Another popular wrinkle removing substance is collagen.  It is used in many face creams which is probably explains why many people are familiar with collagen and how it improves the quality of the skin.  Like Botox, collagen also comes in injectable form to get rid of wrinkles.

Collagen injections do not hurt at all.  In fact it is possible to have them without anesthesia.  After the treatment expect some swelling and itching as these are normal and will go away within 24 hours.  Those with sensitive skin normally experience the side-effects seven days after the procedure.  The results of collagen injections vary from one person to another but they often quickly disappear in those areas with expression wrinkles.  Like Botox and other wrinkle injections, the effects of collagen shots are not permanent because after some time, the collagen gets metabolized by the body.

Injecting the skin with a patient’s own fat is another wrinkle removing alternative.  The best thing about this type of wrinkle treatment is that the patient has a very low chance of developing an allergic reaction to the treatment.  In addition, the body easily absorbs the fat.  The downside however is that in some cases, the effects does not last very long.

Wrinkle injections have many advantages.  They are painless, affordable and the effects become visible within a short period of time.  The downside though is that the effects do not last for long and when they start to fade, you need to get more shots if you want your wrinkles “erased” anew.  Getting an injection to get rid of wrinkles is akin to going on a crash diet to lose weight fast but not permanently.  It is a good choice however it you want to instantly look younger for an upcoming event like a wedding or a class reunion but even then, you should still get your injection way at least a week before the affair to give yourself a few days to recover from the shot and its side-effects.

    What are Wrinkle Fillers?
    Posted in Wrinkles

Once upon a time, when people started to develop wrinkles, there wasn’t much they could do about it.  They simply accepted the fact that they were getting old.  Nowadays, having wrinkles is no longer a sorry fate that people simply have to accept without a fight.  It is now possible to recapture your lost youth thanks to the great advances made by science and medicine.

A wrinkle filler “erases” existing wrinkles albeit only temporarily.  It is actually an injection that contains any one of the three—Botox, collagen and even your own fat.  Although the procedure is fairly simple, it still requires you to be psychologically prepared for it because it involves changing something on your face. Do not start asking yourself questions that would make you think twice about the benefit it would give you.  Avoid pondering on questions such as, “What’s wrong with me, why am I doing this?” or “Isn’t this going a bit too far?”  Focus on the positive.  Tell yourself that it will make you feel better about yourself.

After you have decided to push through with this plan, you need to find a medically attestedplace staffed with experienced and certified specialists to do the job.Make sure that they have done this procedure many times before and that these have been successful.  Take a look at a portfolio of their clients showing before and after pictures to give you an idea of the quality of the work they do.  Take special note of the after pictures and how the clients look as that’s probably how you would look yourself.

During your consultation with your doctor, ask him about which wrinkle treatment would be best for you.  If you will be getting a Botox or collagen injection, you would have to take some allergy tests to find out if your body will reject it or not.  However, if you will be injected with body fat, there’s no need for these tests.  Be ready to wait as these tests can take a long time but keep in mind that this part is necessary to ensure the safety of the client undergoing the procedure.

If you want to have a Botox treatment, there are a few things you need to know about it.  Botox is short for botulinum toxin A.  It is a protein produced by the same bacteria that causes food poisoning.  What it does is it paralyzes the muscles used in making facial expressions.  Because you are unable to make those facial expressions, your wrinkles, which are a result of these expressions, begin to fade.  According to doctors, a Botox treatment can also cure migraines and muscle spasms.  The whole procedure takes about 30 minutes.  The effects will start to manifest in one week lasting for about 4 months.  Now if you want to maintain that wrinkle-free look, you would have to get another injection.

Botox only eliminates expression wrinkles but a collagen-based wrinkle filler fills all types of wrinkles.  Before getting collagen injections, you need to undergo allergy testing which will take up a lot of time.  The reason being that the collagen used is derived from cows and many bodies reject it.

Generally speaking, a fat injection is than a collagen or Botox injection although it varies from person to person.  One advantage of it is that there is no longer a need for allergy tests.  The fat used may be taken from your belly, buttocks, or hips and is injected directly into your wrinkles.
Injections which contain your own fat are safer and sometimes the effects last longer than the ones after collagen or Botox treatment but that varies from person to person. It also doesn’t need any allergy tests so it can be made right after your consultation. The fat is taken from your belly, hips or buttocks and injected right into your wrinkles.

Pain is nothing to worry about because the needle used is very small and fine.  You will practically feel nothing as you are being injected.  After the shot, there will be redness and swelling.

Do not think that just because the procedure involved in this type of treatment is simple, you can walk into any clinic that offers it and get it done.  Make sure a legitimate doctor does it and not just any charlatan because the consequences can be severe.  There are actually people who have died from this treatment because they got the wrong person to do it.

How to Get Rid of Lip Wrinkles
    Posted in Wrinkles

If you’re a woman and you smoke,  you have probably experienced lipstick getting into your wrinkles.  Not a very pleasant thing to happen.  You need to give your lips and the skin around it special care just like the skin around your eyes.

The skin around the lips ages faster than that in the other parts of our face.  It is also exposed to different substances when we eat and drink as well as to bacteria and pollution.

A person with wrinkles around the lips looks much older than someone who has wrinkles in other areas of the face.  For this reason, it is very important to take special care of this particular area.

Lip wrinkles are caused by superficial hydration.  In other words if your lips are dry, youneed to moisturize them or else they will develop wrinkles. If this is your problem, find a separate moisturizer for the lip area that is more hydrating than the one you use for the rest of your face.

Smokers make facial expressions when theysuck in and blow out the smoke.  Constant use of the facial muscles including the lips during smoking, eventually leave permanent marks on the face.  Nicotine alone has a very damaging effect on the skin but the expressions made during the act of smoking makes it worse.  The ideal thing to do is to quit smoking altogether but if that’s too big a challenge, then at least cut down on the number of sticks you consume every day.  Even this small change can yield positive results.

Another good remedy to lip wrinkles is the lip balm.  You can use it even as you sleep at night.  It will keep your lips and the skin around them moist.  When you wake up in the morning, your lips will feel softer and it will be easier to apply lipstick.  For men, a transparent lip balm is recommended.

You can still treat existing lip wrinkles with the use of a retinol cream.  Apply it to the area twice daily—in the morning and before going to bed at night.

Make-up tricks can help prevent lipstick from getting into the wrinkles around the lips.  One way is to use a lip liner or crayon to draw a contour line around your lips.  This will somehow create a barrier that will keep your lipstick from leaking outside the line and into your wrinkles.

Medical procedures that work for lip wrinkles are collagen filling and cosmetic surgery.  For the lips and the area around it, Botox is contraindicated because when the muscles are paralyzed, the wrinkles will not disappear easily.  Furthermore, a Botox treatment for that area of the face will keep you from being able to speak normally.

Lip wrinkles are more challenging and more unpleasant to look at than wrinkles in other areas of the face.  Wrinkles in general are hard to remove thus young people or those whose wrinkles are just beginning to form need to concentrate on preventing wrinkles for developing.  Remember, if you want moist, healthy looking lips use hydrating creams, moisturizing lipsticks and lip balms.

How to Deal with Forehead Wrinkles
    Posted in Wrinkles

Forehead wrinkles are very visible and may be seen on people who are not even old enough to develop wrinkles.  These wrinkles are primarily caused by the facial muscles.  In a young person, forehead wrinkles come out when a certain facial expression is made, however the forehead skin returns to its normal aspect after the gesture is done.  With age however, the forehead naturally begins to wrinkle.  This normally begins after the age of 30.  It is at that time when elastin (the substance naturally secreted by the skin) production begins to decrease.

There are many people who do not use wrinkle removing products until they notice lines appearing on their skin.  However, even if they are not visible, forehead wrinkles do not just suddenly develop as they are the result of facial expressions we make every day.

Now, as for young people with forehead wrinkles, the most likely explanation is that they are experiencing premature ageing.  This is a condition whereby a chronologically youngperson develops the visible characteristics found in older people.  Thus if a 20 year-old individual has deep and noticeable wrinkles, he or she may be suffering from premature ageing.  If this is the only sign, then it may be something else but not premature ageing. If may only be that the skin is particularly dry or that it was exposed repeatedly to the harmful rays of the sun.  Dehydrated skin and overexposure to the sun are two of the major factors that cause wrinkles to become visible. These are the two reasons why some young people develop wrinkles in their foreheads.

Dehydration is one of the skin’s worse enemies.  When a skin is dehydrated, it lacks water and vitamins.  The normal amount of water needed daily by an average person is 2 liters.  If this is not met, not only the skin but the entire body becomes dehydrated.  Dehydration is made worse by smoking.  In fact, a smoker’s body rapidly wastes the overall amount of vitamins.  If the skin is not supplied with the vitamin it needs, it is not able to maintain its normal properties and functions.  It becomes thinner, and it loses its elasticity and firmness giving it a brittle look.

Forehead wrinkles can be prevented with Botox treatments.  Botox is a neurotoxin which can cause the temporary paralysis of the muscles.  When injected on the forehead, Botulinum toxin will stop you from making expressions that cause your forehead to wrinkle.  After injection, it is necessary to apply a face cream, wrinkle remover or a moisturizer on your forehead to hydrate, soften and fortify your skin.  This step should not be overlooked as it will make the treatment more effective.

Smoking creates free radicals which is why people who have this unhealthy habit are particularly prone to wrinkles.  A good skin care regimen is important most especially if you smoke.  Always keep in mind that maintenance is better than undergoing repairs.

Qualities of a Good Anti-Wrinkle Cream
    Posted in Wrinkles

Because ageing is inevitable, wrinkles are inevitable as well.  You may get the right amount of sleep every night and in the best anti-wrinkle position, if you reach a certain age, you would still develop those age lines.

Wrinkles begin to appear as early as when we are in our 20’s, becoming more visible in our 30’s and deeper as we go into our 40’s.  The worse part of it is that wrinkles not only become more pronounced but they also increase in number as the years go by.  But there are ways to control it which is encouraging news.  If you don’t want your skin to look like an antiquated map on parchment paper in a few years, the time is act is now.

Cosmetic research is continuously finding ways to arrest the development of wrinkles.  Now there are many different wrinkle treatments available.  Some of them are admittedly quite expensive while some take time to show visible results.  Unfortunately, when the condition has reached beyond what is scientifically possible at the moment, nothing else can be done.  The best thing to do is to prevent this kind of situation from happening and this can be done by taking good care of your skin through the use of anti-wrinkle creams.

An anti-wrinkle cream is a moisturizer and nutrient supplement for your skin on the face.  It should be applied daily to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and age spots.  Aside from this, a good cream will also allow your skin to be softer and smoother.

High quality anti-wrinkle and skin care creams should have high concentrations of vitamins.  The best creams are those that are rich in vitamins as these work very well in hydrating the face.  The skin needs the most complex of vitamins A, B, C, C, and E so find products that contain these elements.

Another important quality of good anti-wrinkle creams is that they are non-comedogenic which means that they do not block or clog the pores of the skin.  Creams of this type are very efficient and the effects are more noticeable.

Determine your skin type and give it the care it requires.  If you have dehydrated and sensitive skin, you should not use an alcohol based cream.  This will dry your skin severely and will cause further damage through irritation.  An alcohol based cream is beneficial for fat skin but great care should still be taken with its use.  The alcohol will reduce the amount of the oily substance called sebum on your school thereby reducing the shine.

Take great care on type of skin. If you have a dehydrated and sensible skin, I recommend you DO NOT use an alcohol cream. The alcohol cream will dry your skin and cause even further damage like irritation. The alcohol cream is good for a fat skin but don’t exaggerate. The alcohol will decrease the amount of sebum contained by your skin reducing that oily shine effect.

When you buy an anti-wrinkle cream, make sure it contains sunscreen lotions. These will keep you protected from the sun’s harmful rays.  Unprotected sun exposure is the number one cause of premature wrinkles and spots.

If you are not keen on the idea of using chemicals on your skin, you may want to try some homemade recipes and treatments.  Nature has provided us with coconut oil which is a very good skin moisturizer.  Apply in on the wrinkled areas of your face and massage until it is absorbed by the skin.  Do this every night before going to sleep.

Banana cream is another great skin treatment.  Mash half a banana until it becomes creamy in consistency.  Apply if on your face and leave it for about 15 minutes then wash it off.
