    Very few people would disagree that the best period of life is those years when were youths.  It is that time when we felt free, we were full of dreams, we had fewer worries, and we were excited to find out what life had to offer us.  As years turn into decades, we begin to see and feel the effects of ageing.  No one likes to grow old not only because ageing makes us lose our fresh appearance, but it makes us even more aware of the reality of dying someday which is the natural and ultimate conclusion of the ageing process.

    The following are tips to help you feel and look younger:

    • Shape up.  If you exercise regularly, you will stay healthy, get rid of stress and even improve your outlook and eventually your character.  Needless to say your physique would look a lot better; you’ll feel stronger; and will have more stamina. 
    • Eat a healthy diet.  Make sure you get your supply of the right nutrients and you avoid eating foods that contain too much fat and sugar.  Foods that are known to fight ageing include flaxseed and fish oil, whey protein, salmon, tuna, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, eggs, green tea, yogurt, avocado, cashews, and pecans.  Supervise your diet; make sure you eat all the right nutrients. Here are some of the foods that may help you beat ageing and look younger: salmon, tuna, flaxseed and fish oil, whey protein, berries, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, eggs, almonds, pecans and cashews, avocado, yogurt, green tea.  It is also important that you always stay hydrated so drink a lot of pure clean water and not sodas or alcohol.
    • Take good care of your skin, hair and teeth.  Avoid putting on too much make-up.  Research on experts’ tips on how to create a younger appearance and follow them.  The type of haircut you sport also makes a big difference.  Short hair or close to shoulder length hair will make you more youthful looking.
    • Get plastic surgery if you are comfortable with the idea and of course, if you have the budget for it.
    • Dress according to your age.  Don’t wear the same type of clothes you used to wear when you were younger because you will only end up look foolish.  Try to find out what types of clothes are appropriate tot your age and lifestyle and stick with them.
    • Make radical lifestyle changes by following a daily exercise regimen, getting enough rest and sleepGet enough exercise and enough rest and sleep as well.  Quit smoking and excessive drinking and find a regular stress-relieving activity.
    • Have a positive outlook.  Get rid of all negative and self-defeating thoughts.  Stand straight and carry yourself with confidence.  If you love yourself, people will begin to love you too. 
    • Smiling and laughing will make you look and feel younger and more energetic.A person that exudes a light and joyful attitude will attract others.
